Q: What leather do you use?

A: We purchase bovine (cow) skins directly from the source, tan them at the leading tannery of South Africa and use only quality furniture leather. Some of our product ranges include Kudu Leather.

Q: How does purchasing from your Online Shop work?

A: Step 1: Add the item you want to your cart.

Step 2: Add your information to the order. Please add your daytime address (i.e. Work) to your shipping address as orders arrive between 8am-5pm.

Step 3: You will be redirected to PayFast, our secure payment gateway partner that allows payment with credit cards, debit cards, and InstantEFT.

Step 4: As soon as the payment is done, an order is created on our system, we process the order, package the goods, and get it shipped with Skynet courier services. We will email you the tracking number of your order as soon as it's shipped. Skynet usually delivers within 48-72 hours after shipment. We ship orders within 7-14 days of processing orders (Dependent on availability).

Q: How do I keep the leather clean?

A: We recommend cleaning it with a dry cloth, if something was spilled onto the handbag, use a slightly damp cloth and lightly pat on the spot. If leather has shiny finish(top coat), you may use a wet cloth, just ensure that the spot dries properly (Leather can rot). You can also apply Dubbin once a year to treat the leather but please note that Dubbin will make the leather darker if there's no top coat.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We use a payment gateway called PayFast that ensures encrypted and safe transactions. They accept debit cards, credit cards, and InstantEFT. We also accept EFT payments made directly, instructions can be found on the checkout page.

Q: Do you do custom orders?

A: Unfortunately not. As we work with a community project, we have a 1 to 2 month designing process where we develop patterns for them to use, this makes it difficult and costly to have to stop production and modify patterns to make a custom order.
